Viva Rock Vegas

Well, one can't always explain why one does what one does. But sometimes, one just has to go with one's subconscious, primitive impulse, put all reason and practicality aside and just GO FOR IT.

So, come October 25, this fifty-something rock 'n roller will be escorting his spouse to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for a quiet evening enjoying the gentle and soulful tunes of - you guessed it - Aerosmith and KISS.

Sure the ticket prices were outrageous and insane. BUT, if you are going to Vegas to throw away your money, I guarantee that your "burn rate" of $200 a seat for a 3 hour, once in a lifetime concert, is a bargain. Sit at a slot machine for that amount of time, and you'll probably drop close to a grand!

So, with that perspective, I have no remorse for paying the price of admission to ROCK MY F*KIN SOCKS OFF!
